CPR Guardians Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

No Refunds
All CPR Guardians courses are non-refundable. However, if your registration is canceled for any reason, you will receive a credit for the full amount paid.

Course Credit
This credit can be used to re-register or reschedule your course within one year of the original cancellation date. The credit will expire one year from the cancellation date of the initial course.

No-Shows
We consider no-shows as a missed opportunity to attend the course. They will not be treated as cancellations and will not be eligible for a credit.

Rescheduling
You are allowed one free reschedule per course registration, provided you notify us at least three business days in advance. Any additional rescheduling requests or those received less than three business days before the course will incur a $35 administrative fee.

Course Pre-work and Prerequisites
Some courses may require pre-work modules or other prerequisites for participation. These requirements will be clearly outlined on the specific course description page.

  • Online pre-work for classroom sessions must be completed before the first meeting, and the certificate of completion needs to be brought to the first session for admission.
  • Some in-person courses may have additional safety precautions and health screenings mandated for the well-being of instructors and attendees. Examples include face masks and temperature checks.

Incomplete Pre-work and Ineligibility
Failure to complete pre-work, not meeting course prerequisites, lacking necessary documentation (completion certificates for online modules), or violating safety/health protocols will not qualify you for a refund. However, if you fail the online pre-work or are otherwise ineligible, you may receive a one-time credit of 50% towards re-enrolling in the same course.
By registering, you acknowledge your responsibility to verify eligibility and complete pre-work for the chosen course.

Successful Course Completion
To successfully complete a course, attendance and participation in all online and in-person sessions are mandatory, along with demonstrated competency in skills and successful completion of written and practical examinations. No refunds or credits will be issued for not fulfilling all course requirements or failing the course (except in accordance with the cancellation policy).

Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover debit/credit cards. Invoicing and payment via check may be available for approved businesses, government entities, and nonprofits only (inquire for approval). A $60 fee will be charged for returned checks. Certifications are held until full payment is received.

Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability
Participation in CPR Guardians courses may involve rigorous physical activity, such as performing CPR, moving a person, or water rescue simulations. There is a risk of injury or death associated with these activities. If you have any health concerns, disabilities, or medical issues, consult your doctor before registering to ensure you are medically fit to participate.
